What if my jobs do not have a fixed value?

The short answer

Very few do, and that is fine. We start from an average job and a rough margin, which you can give us to the nearest few hundred dollars, and the dashboard labels every figure built on it as estimated. As real jobs close you tell us what they were worth, and the estimate gives way to a measurement. An estimate is never dressed up as a measurement.
