Remarketing means showing ads specifically to people who already visited your site, engaged on social, or interacted with your business. It is the cheapest paid traffic you can buy because the audience already knows you, and it consistently produces the highest ROAS of any channel.
Why remarketing has the highest ROAS
Most first-time visitors do not convert on the first visit. They are researching, comparing, or distracted. Remarketing puts you in front of them again at lower cost than acquiring a brand-new visitor, and they are warmer because they already saw your brand once.
Typical remarketing ROAS is two to four times higher than cold prospecting for the same offer. Many of our clients get six to ten times return on remarketing alone.
How to set up audiences correctly
Segment by behavior, not just by visit. People who viewed pricing. People who started a form and abandoned. People who watched 50 percent of your video. Each gets a different message because their intent is different.
Cap frequency so the same person does not see your ad 30 times in a week. Use the Google Tag and Meta Pixel correctly, and exclude existing customers from prospecting campaigns so you are not paying to re-acquire them.
